• 8-10 kokum, soaked in 1 cup hot water for 45 minutes
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 3 green chillies
  • ½ tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp chopped coriander
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin
  • Pinch of rock salt



  1. In a bowl mix the green chillies, coriander, ginger, cumin and salt. Crush the mixture lightly. To this add the coconut milk.
  2. Grind the soaked kokum in a blender. Strain and mix the kokum juice with the coconut milk.
  3. Serve chilled.
