Dudhsagar Waterfalls

Dudhsagar is one of the world's most exquisite falls that lies in India.The falls lie high up in the Mandovi River's watershed and so are not particularly spectacular during the dry season. During the monsoon season however, the falls are transformed into one of the most powerful falls in India. Dudhsagar Falls is listed as India's 5th tallest waterfall, and is 227th in the world. Tambdi Surla

The small Shiva (Mahadev) temple of Tambdi Surla situated at about 18 km from the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary gate is the only surviving structure of the Kadamba Yadava dynasty. Thus it is the oldest temple of Goa, that survived from the Portuguese as it was set next to a stream in the middle of the small clearing, hidden in the dense jungle.

The Tambdi Surla temple dedicated to Lord Shiva has a pillared porch and three stepped entrances and the shrine surmounted by a tower. It is quite small with a small passageway and has Shiva's vehicle, a headless Nandi Bull in the center of the main porch.

Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary

The Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Goan town of Mollem. With a total area of 240 sq kms, this is the largest of Goa's four protected wildlife areas, and contains within it The Molem National Park.

The sanctuary is situated on the eastern border of Goa, with Karnataka 53 kms away from Panaji and 54 kms away from Margao. It is easily accessible by both road and rail.

White Water River Rafting

Get the adrenalin rushing with white water rafting. Mandovi River also known as Mahadayi or Mhadei River is described as the lifeline of the state of Goa, India. The river has a length of 77 kilometers, 29 km in Karnataka and 52 kilometers in Goa. The river rafting facility will be available till 15th October 2012, subject to availability of rapids and adequate water currents, and suitable weather conditions.
